Municipal Band to Perform music from Broadway & Hollywood At the Goranson Bandshell
The City Summer Bandshell Concert series will feature the Jamestown Municipal Band as directed by Rick Lundquist at 7pm, Wednesday, July 27th. The free concert series is held at the Goranson Bandshell in Allen Park.
This week’s concert theme is “Music from Broadway and Hollywood.”
In addition to funding provided annually through the City Budget, these concerts are made available free to the public through the support of the following: Chautauqua Region Community Foundation, Allen Park Women’s Club; Acme Appliance Store, AJ Texas Hots, DFT Communications, Fessenden, Laumer & DeAngelo; Lake County Dodge, Local 134, American Federation of Musicians; Mayor Sam Teresi, Salon One, Raffa and Associates, LLC; Lind Funeral Home, and Shawbucks.
This concert will cap off the regular concert series that included performances by the Jamestown High School Concert Band, the Infinity Visual and Performing Arts Program and the three regularly scheduled concerts by the Jamestown Municipal Band.
All concerts are free to the public and everyone is urged to bring their lawn chairs, blankets or park their vehicles close by and listen to the music from the comfort of their car.
