The Jamestown Police Department has a Command Center which is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by a Police Officer. The Command Center is located inside the Jamestown Police Department. The Police Officer or "Command Officer" is responsible for managing and monitoring communications for the City of Jamestown Police Department. The Command Officer serves as a critical link between the Community of Jamestown and all public safety emergency and non-emergency responders. The Command Officer is committed to acquiring and disseminating pertinent information to help protect life, property, and the environment. In doing so, the Command Officer strives to provide the community with the highest level of service.
