May 17, 2012Persell Middle School Announces Tree Planting
Persell Middle School Principal Phil Cammarata (left) made a special school-wide televised announcement challenging students to raise money for new trees to be planted on school grounds. He was joined by (L to R) Mayor Sam Teresi, Chautauqua Region Community Foundation Executive Director Randy Sweeney, and City of Jamestown Arborist Dan Stone. The school, foundation and city are partnering on the tree-planting effort.
