May 17, 2012City Welcomes Summer Bruise-in
Mayor Sam Teresi welcomed the Chautauqua County Roller Derby Babes of Wrath to the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena on Sunday, June 12, 2011, for their bout against the Erie Roller Girls of Eerie, Pennsylvania. The Babes went on to win the bout, dubbed Summer Bruise-in, by a score of 163 to 137. A pre-bout tailgate party featured DJ Jimmy Whispas and Smackdab. The half-time show was put on by the Suburban Blend Skate Team.
