2010 Peace Officer Memorial Day

Captain Barry Swanson, Master of Ceremonies, looks on as Mayor Sam Teresi proclaims May 12, 2010, as Peace Officers Memorial Day in Jamestown.  The somber remembrance of fallen police men and women is part of National Peace Officers Memorial Day.

Brandon Maggio Named Officer of the Year

Kendall Club PBA President, Investigator Dan Johnson, presents Officer Brandon Maggio with the 2010 Kendall Club Officer of the Year Award.  Maggio was honored for his quick thinking during an incident in August of 2009.  Maggio was forced to use his weapon to subdue an enraged motorist who tried to run down Maggio and another officer.  The motorist also endangered the lives of a nearby group of people.
