May 17, 201270 Years of Baseball Recognized at City Stadium

Mayor Sam Teresi presents the Key to the City of Jamestown to Johnny O'Neil during the 70th Anniversary Celebration of Municipal Stadium, now named Russell E. Diethrick, Jr. Park. O'Neil played shortstop for the 1941 PONY League Champions Jamestown Falcons. The Mayor also proclaimed Friday, July 29, 2011, as Johnny O'Neil Day prior to the Jamestown Jammers taking on the Aberdeen IronBirds.
