City of Jamestown Traffic Division

  • The traffic division is within the City of Jamestown, NY Department of Public Works (DPW).
  • This division is responsible for the maintenance and installation of traffic signals, traffic signs, pavement markings and parking meters.  Relative to this function, this division is called upon to review and report on traffic issues using guidance provided primarily by the New York State and Federal traffic control device manuals, as well as the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
  • Our office and maintenance shop are located in the 145/155 Steele Street DPW facility.
  • Hours are 7AM – 3PM Monday through Friday.
