The City of Jamestown invites public comment on its Substantial Amendment to the City of Jamestown Consolidated Plan 2008 Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant Recovery (CDBG-R) Program, created under Title XII Division A of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to provide funding for the expedited completion eligible CDBG activities.

The City of Jamestown is eligible to make application to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for $374,921 under CDBG-R by submitting its proposed Substantial Amendment describing its plan for use of CDBG-R funds as required by the Notice of Program Requirements for Community Development Block Grant Program Funding Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Docket No. FR-5309-N-01.
Copies of the proposed Substantial Amendment will be made available for the required seven (7) day review period at the following locations: the Department of Development office, Third Floor, Municipal Building, 200 East Third Street, Jamestown, New York; the City Clerk's office, First Floor, Municipal Building, 200 East Third Street, Jamestown, New York; and the James Prendergast Library, 509 Cherry Street, Jamestown, New York and online at www.jamestownny.net.
The public is invited to submit their written comments to the Department of Development, Third Floor, Municipal Building, 200 East Third Street, Jamestown, New York, 14701. All comments received will be considered prior to the submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development by the Mayor.
